VP, Consumer Acquisition & Management @ American Express Canada

Being a "Data Guy", I'll use the results from a recent Gallup StrengthsFinder assessment to help paint a picture of who I am

“Gallup research proves that people succeed when they focus on what they do best”. With that in mind, I recently completed the StrengthsFinder assessment and discovered that the following 5 Strengths were identified as my top ones (in order):

  1. Strategic

Problem solving, future thinking, identifying patterns in complex situations;  These are truly the environments in which my skill set is best utilized and the area in which I thrive.

  1. Achiever

Driven, motivated and strong work ethic; Everyday starts at zero and everyday’s goal is to accomplish something that matters, ultimately driving towards a larger vision.

  1. Learner

A sponge, immersive, built for the constant and rapidly changing digital industry;  Not only a learner but also an educator.  Have a passion for teaching, mentoring and guiding individuals of all ranks.

  1. Individualization

Everyone has a story and various different triggers make people tick.  Identifying these stories and signals allows me to build strong teams and working relationships.

  1. Woo

“Winning Others Over”, building relationships, ability to influence;  All mandatory skills required to ensure decisions get made and ultimately work gets done.

I’ve also worked with a personal executive coach in the past where we identified and actively focused on my “derailers” (negative characteristics that kick in under moments of stress) although you’ll need to contact me if you would like to learn more…
